The employees of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative measures and investigative actions, detained G.G. (DoB 1940) for premeditated murder.

The committed crime envisions from 10 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person murdered his brother’s spouse - L.N. (DoB 1949), in Kaspi municipality by shooting her with a hunting rifle in head area as a result of the conflict.

The police arrested G.G. as a result of immediate activities. The law enforcement officers seized the weapon of crime - a hunting rifle as evidence.

Investigation into the fact of premeditated murder is in progress under article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
