The rehabilitation of Melikishvili Avenue has come to an end. The heads of the service manholes have already been raised and leveled.

“In the current week, we will pave the last layer of the asphalt surface. Due to the mentioned road works, traffic on Melikishvili Avenue will be completely restricted until the end of the week.

Traffic will be permitted according to the scheme that was in place at the beginning of the rehabilitation of the avenue – traffic on Varaziskhevi will be two-way, and vehicles leaving Chavchavadze Avenue will be able to enter Varaziskhevi. This will be temporary as the road works will be fully completed by the end of the week”, - explained the Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze.
