The capital’s main Christmas tree and New Year’s illuminations will be lit on December 9. Tbilisi Mayor announced this at the meeting of the capital’s government.
According to Kakha Kaladze, the New Year village will be opened later.
“New Year’s illuminations and the capital’s main Christmas tree lighting event will be held on December 9, depending on the weather. If there are any changes, we will inform the public about it, however, we have decided that on December 9, Tbilisi will be illuminated with New Year’s illuminations. Later, the New Year’s village will be opened, where different types of events will be held every day. In this regard, we will provide more information to the public later”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
