Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Education Ministry and the State Language Department, convened a working conference of Georgian Sunday schools operating abroad.

The conference focused on the opportunities for learning Georgian language abroad, the educational process in Georgian Sunday schools, and both planned and ongoing programmes, as well as the state support.

Currently, over 150 Georgian Sunday schools operate in several countries.
