These are Ghrmaghele, Nadzaladevi, Station Square, Marjanishvili, Rustaveli, Freedom Square, 300 Aragveli, Isani, Technical University, Delisi, Didube, and Akhmeteli Theater.
In addition, it is planned to ensure the full mechanization-equipment of selected stations for disabled people. Currently, tender procedures for the procurement of consulting services are underway. This service includes the feasibility study of underground station renovation and the preparation of detailed designs. The procurement of consulting services was announced on October 6, 2022, and the expression of interest phase ended on November 11, 2022.
Currently, the companies that have expressed interest are being evaluated. A competition will be held among the selected companies. The contract with the winning company identified as a result of the evaluation of technical and financial proposals is presumably expected to be signed in May.
According to the technical assignment, the term for providing consulting services is 10 months, after which a tender will be announced regarding the construction and rehabilitation works”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
