Rehabilitated Ketevan Dedofali Avenue fully opened for vehicles and public transport

Road traffic has resumed on Tbilisi’s Ketevan Dedofali Avenue following its rehabilitation. Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, along with the deputy mayors, Irakli Bendeliani and Andria Basilaya, got acquainted with the completed works.

According to Tbilisi City Hall, within the framework of the project, the avenue from Avlabari Square to Lech Kaczynski Street has been fully rehabilitated with its underground service networks, new lighting network, landscaping, and surrounding areas.

In addition, within the framework of the project, bus stops have been organized, a special lane was allocated for public transport; traffic islands and crossings were organized for the safe movement of pedestrians, and the existing infrastructure on the avenue has been adapted for the people with disabilities.

The project worth of GEL 8,500,000 was financed by the City Hall budget.
