The legislative package initiated by the ruling team, on the basis of which a new public law legal entity - Anti-Corruption Bureau is to be created, will be presented at today’s session of the Parliament Bureau.

After that, the committee and session discussions of the project will begin.

The Anti-Corruption bureau will not have an investigative function. It will supervise the implementation of the document defining general anti-corruption policy and the national anti-corruption strategy.

The mentioned bureau will also coordinate the activities of relevant bodies, organizations and officials.

The part of the opposition critically evaluates the creation of the anti-corruption bureau and states that other systemic changes in the direction of corruption are needed.
