Georgian Minister of Agriculture Otar Shamugia reviewed the current food security situation and challenges in Georgia at the 50th session of the committee on World Food Security, with the event hosted in Rome.
The session, attended by ministers and high-ranking delegates from around 130 countries, focused on the coordination of global food security policy and the current situation in food security and nutritional value.
In his address, Shamugia discussed the current situation and challenges in the country and noted “all state projects and programmes” in agriculture were aiming at creating “as many quality Georgian products as possible” and increasing the dynamics of production.
