Improving the standards of employment conditions – Health Minister summarized the results of 3-year project

The EU twinning project - Improving the standards of employment conditions/relations as well as health and safety at work in Georgia has ended.

The Minister of Health of Georgia, delivered a speech at the final event and summarized the results of 3-year project.

As Zurab Azarashvili said, State used a systematic approach in terms of protection of labour rights and has actively worked on strengthening of labour rights. According to the report, 14 technical regulations were elaborated. Their implementation has already started according to Georgian legislation.

The changes will significantly contribute to improvement of labour conditions in Georgia, which is envisaged by the obligations of the EU/Georgia Association Agreement.
