Tbilisi Television Tower was lit up in pink color within a campaign of “Pink October”.

By the initiative of Tbilisi City Assembly Deputy Chairman Tinatin Nibloshvili and Gender Equality Council of the Assembly, with participation of Zurab Chikviladze, Chairman of the Healthcare and Social Issues Commission of the Assembly, and with the involvement of “Europe Dona Georgia” and the National Screening Center campaign “Your life in your Hands” joints to the events planned across the world in October which is accompanied by pink symbols.

The campaign has an international character and many countries of the world take part in it every year. “Pink October” has been celebrated since 1997 worldwide and serves to raise awareness of breast cancer.
