Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scores his debut Champions League goal

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli’s Georgian midfielder, scored his debut Champions League goal and made an assist in the team’s 6-1 thrashing of Ajax.

Napoli recorded its biggest away win in Europe and has now scored 13 goals in 3 Group A matches this Champions League campaign.

Kvaratskhelia’ goal against Ajax was the first goal of a Georgian player in the competition for 17 years. In 2005, Levan Kobiashvili, the Georgian defender of Schalke 04, scored a hat-trick against PSV Eindhoven in the 3:0 win for the German club.
