The Mayor of Tbilisi made a comment about the fire in surroundings of the capital. The journalist asked him a question, regarding the Tskneti fire noting many people were suggesting that the fire was created on purpose so that after burning the place the status of the area would be removed and there would be possible to build new houses in the place.

“Fortunately, the years of deforestation, and construction of recreational areas, and sports fields have passed.

Talking about the delay of the fire is a lie. The public sees reality very well. We have heroic firefighters. I want to thank each of them very much for what they did in Borjomi.

I would like to thank them for the way they serve our country, they are ready to serve the motherland at the cost of their lives”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
