A grant programme of “Enterprise Georgia” has revealed 1 338 winners across Georgia.
According to the Ministry of Economy, the latest round of the Micro and Small Business Support Programme, announced in March, identified the winning projects out of 3,700 applicants that had reached the final stage.
The overall grant reached GEL 30,000, while in the regions of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti, Guria and Kakheti it hit GEL 40,000 under the pilot Integrated Regional Development Programme, launched by the Government and co-financed through the budget support scheme by the European Union.
The winners were asked to draw up the purpose of their grant budgets under capital expenditures of not less than 90% and working capital of not more than 10%.
