Volodymyr Zelensky created the Advisory Council on Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol.
The main tasks of the newly created council are to prepare, taking into account the provisions of the Strategy for the Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the ARC and the City of Sevastopol, approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 117/2021 of March 24, 2021, and to make proposals regarding activity priorities, including in honey of the Crimean platform, on the issues of deoccupation, reintegration and restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, protection of the rights and interests of Ukrainians, overcoming the consequences and compensation for the damage caused to the Ukrainian state, its citizens and legal entities in connection with the armed aggression and temporary occupation by the Russian Federation of part of the territory of Ukraine . And also – participation in developing Ukraine’s position on the key areas of activity of the “Crimean Platform”; preparation of proposals to improve legislation on issues related to deoccupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The chairman of the Advisory Council is the President. The composition of the Advisory Council is approved by the President of Ukraine.
