With the support of the Rural Development Program, the Company “Eco Villagio” had arranged the tourist space in village Mirzaani, Dedoplistskaro municipality. 10 wooden cottages are included into the hotel. Arrangement costs exceeded 225,000 GEL, including the co-financing of Rural Development Program in amount of 170,000 GEL. 13 local inhabitants are employed in hotel.

Ketevan Khutsishvili, the Manager of Rural Development, Civil Safety and Crisis Management Programs of EU Representation in Georgia, Nodar Kereselidze, the Manager of United Nationsl; Development Project (UNDP) - Rural Development Enhancement in Georgia, Davit Dekanoidze, the Chief Officer of Grant-Investment Service of Rural Development Agency, visited the hotel opened recently by the support of the Program.

76 project with investment price of 10,9 million GEL are financed by the Rural Development Program, out of which the co-financing exceeds 7.6 million GEL.

“Rural Development Program” is implemented in Keda, Khulo, Borjomi, Akhalkalaki, Tetritskaro, Kazbegi, Lagodekhi and Dedoplistskaro municipalities.

“Rural Development Program” is implemented by Rural Development Agency (RDA) and by the support of European Union (EU) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) within the frameworks of “European Neighborhood Program for Agriculture and Rural Development”.
