In connection with the 14th anniversary of the 2008 Russia-Georgia war, in honor and memory of the fallen, the state flag was lowered over the building of government administration of Georgia.

State flags are lowered in all administrative buildings throughout the country and at the overseas diplomatic missions of Georgia.
