Actually, neither the electoral barrier, nor the issue of Mikheil Saakashvili, nor Bidzina Ivanishvili’s return to politics has anything to do with the 12 points contained in the European Commission report. Such a comment made today the Chairman of the Georgian Dream, while talking about the joint statement of Citizens and Girchi.

“Therefore, the content of this letter is not clear to us. We have discussed all the topics related to the implementation of the 12 points and we will continue to act according to this agenda”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.

When asked by media how it is possible to implement the recommendations of the European Commission without the involvement of the opposition, he noted that the political parties that are not involved in the process are political parties with a radical agenda.

In the same context, Kobakhidze said that the United National Movement, Lelo and Strategy Aghmashenebeli do not want Georgia to receive candidate status and therefore they are sabotaging the process.
