Guram Macharashvili, a member of the parliamentary majority, is leaving the Georgian Dream. He will continue to work in the Parliament with the mandate of an independent MP.

“Difficult political processes are taking place in the world, Georgia can’t be an exception, there are challenges in the country, especially after Bidzina Ivanishvili’s letter was published.

My current position can be an obstacle to providing the necessary information to people. In order the members of the team not to face any inconvenience due to the political conjuncture, I consider it necessary to leave the faction and provide the necessary information to the public together with my colleagues”, - said Guram Macharashvili.
