Police detained Ukrainian citizen at Tbilisi International Airport. The police seized 3 kilograms of cocaine at the airport, a Ukrainian citizen was arrested. Detainee is charged with illegal purchase and storage of narcotics in especially leg quantities and illegal import into Georgia. The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

His lawyer, Mevlud Janjghava, claims that the person under his protection did not know what he was carrying across the border.

“He was detained at the Tbilisi airport, I attended the indictment. He said he didn’t know that he was transporting drugs”, - says the lawyer.
