The President of the Georgia Red Cross - Natia Loladze held an official reception dedicated to her election as the Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

“For the first time in history, a representative of Georgia was elected as the vice-president of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, which opens a new window of opportunities and further strengthens the work of the world"s largest humanitarian organization in Georgia.

As part of the reception, we gave a certificate of appreciation to the 10 companies that made the largest donation in 2022 to help affected people in Ukraine. As a result of their support, more than 3,000,000 GEL was transferred to the Red Cross of Ukraine in cash and more than 100 tons of humanitarian aid was sent in kind”, - reads the statement.
