The British Ambassador to Georgia responds to the film screening held within the framework of Pride Week on the social network Twitter.

“Pleased to attend the screening of “Wet Sand” – the opening event of Tbilisi’s Pride week.

We have a duty to stand up and champion the brave work of human rights defenders, including here in Georgia.

I pay tribute to the police officers who did so much to allow this event to take place”, - tweeted Mark Ckayton.
