Georgia has received USD 258 million from international tourist visits in May 2022, which is 250.4% more compared to the same month of 2021.
According to the Georgian National Tourism Administration, revenues from international tourism have also recovered by 95.6% compared to the pre-pandemic 2019.
In the first 5 months of 2022, revenues from international tourism reached USD 840 million, which is a 374.5% increase year-on-year and 75.3% recovery from the pre-pandemic 2019 number.
Last month Georgia hosted 359,238 international travellers, posting a 49.7% recovery from the pre-pandemic 2019 figure and an increase of 228.5% year-on-year.
