The meeting of the Professional Development Council has been conducted at the Ministry of Health. The members of the Council reviewed 5 professional liability cases and reflected on professional liability of 6 doctors.

By the decision of the Council, State certificate of 3 doctors was suspended for various terms, written warning was issued for 2 doctors.

Within its Terms of Reference, Professional Development Council conducts comprehensive study of physicians’ professional activities, considers quality of healthcare services provided to the patients, possible malpractice of medical personnel, professional liability and cases of careless/unethical attitude towards patients.

Considering revealed irregularities, the Council is authorized to discontinue or terminate for optimal period the right to perform activities for medical personnel, assign receiving of professional rehabilitation training course and issue a written warning.
