The Speaker of the Parliament, together with the Georgian delegation, visits the Kingdom of Norway.

Shalva Papuashvili will be hosted by the King of Norway, Harald V, the Speaker of the Parliament (Storting) Masud Gharahkhani, members of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and Defense.

At the meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Henrik Thune, the productive bilateral and multilateral cooperation directions have been discussed. The Speaker expressed his gratitude to Norway for its support of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Georgia.

The parties overviewed the progress of our country on the EU integration path and dwelt on the Russian aggression in Ukraine and its consequences. Providing the geopolitical reality, the parties stressed the importance of the close and regular political dialogue.
