The Chairman of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, David McAllister, responds on his Twitter page to the issue of granting EU candidate status to Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova.

“European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee will discuss its assessment on the application of Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia to join the European Union with European Union Commission.

EPP Group believes that at a time when the security of the whole region is at stake, granting candidate status is an important political signal”, - tweeted David McAllister.
