Amiran Gamkrelidzes, the Director General of the National Center for Disease Control, urges private hospital and pharmaceutical sector, not to take advantage of the situation

“I urge the strong private sector in Georgia, both hospital and outpatient, as well as the pharmaceutical sector – one of the most powerful sectors not to take advantage of this situation. There is a shortage of certain consumables, protective equipment and et al. around the world.

There may be a shortage of certain drugs. We should not take advantage of this circumstance, but show solidarity, help the population to have more financial access to all the medicines and medical supplies needed to fight against the virus”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
