Vakhtang Gomelauri, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, appointed as the Secretary of the country’s National Security Council. Such a statement made the Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia durint the government meeting.

“The Security Council, a very important body should work and function effectively. In light of this situation, we present the new Secretary of the National Security Council – the Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri.

I congratulate Vakhtang on this important and responsible appointment”, - said the Head of the Government.
