The Rustavi Court has declared former Mayor of Marneuli Municipality Temur Abazov, and three other defendants not guilty. The bail posted by the defendants has been returned to them.

Video footage showing a resident of Marneuli, Elchin Alakhverdiev, apologizing for verbally abusing Bidzina Ivanishvili and Temur Abazov in circumstances which violate personal dignity was spread on social media.

“The so-called victim was lying. I don’t know, may be somebody used him, But one thing I can say for sure - it was a provocation that failed”, - said Temur Abazov.
