The officers of Isani - Samgori police division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result immediate operative and investigative activities, detained G.B. (1983) in Tbilisi for attempted premeditated murder of the family member under the aggravating circumstances.

The committed crime envisages from 13 to 17 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on February 9, detainee inflicted injury to throat area with a cold steel to his former spouse - T.E. and fled from the place of crime.

Law enforcers managed to detain G.B. several hours after the crime took place. The weapon of murder- knife, was seized by the policemen as evidence.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder of the family member under the aggravating circumstances, article 19-109, II part, sub-paragraph “F” envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
