Trammo will invest USD 20 million in Georgia and build a new terminal in the Batumi port, which will connect the Asian and European markets via the Batumi port.
Archil Talakvadze, the Chairman of the Parliament, has met in New York with the Executive Director and the members of the Governing Board of the American Corporation Trammo.
During the meeting the Speaker talked about the investment environment, strategic cooperation with the US, standards of protection of property rights and reforms implemented in Georgia.
“The decision was made to invest because of Georgia"s geostrategic position, attractive business environment and stable governance of the country”, - said Trammo CEO Edward Weiner.
According to Forbes, Trammo ranks 58th in the list of the largest companies of the US.
