The US 2021 budget provides USD 170 million in military aid to Europe and Eurasia, including Georgia.
According to the Fiscal Year 2021 budget bill, strategic security priorities of Europe and Eurasia are to oppose Russian influence and aggression, through strengthening allies and partners to protect their sovereignty, as well as improved collaboration with NATO and other Western forces and the implementation of sustainable defense reforms.
The priority recipients of funding in the US Fiscal Year 2021 budget are Georgia, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the front-line countries.
The Fiscal Year 2021 budget bill also provides financial assistance to Georgia as part of the International Military Education and Training Program.
