A young, 5 months pregnant woman died in Kutaisi from a viral infection.

According to reports, a woman in Oni was taken to Ambrolauri Hospital in critical condition, from where the Ambulance immediately taken her to the Kutaisi Intervention Medicine Center.

Due to a complicated respiratory infection, a pregnant woman could not survive. The fact is confirmed at the clinic, but they say they cannot comment further without family consent.

The patient died on February 8.
