Detainee sentenced to 3-day imprisonment for threatening Anri Okhanashvili

Akhaltsikhe court has sent Vakhtang Robakidze, who insulted chairman of the parliamentary committee on legal affairs, Anri Okhanashvili, to custody for three days.

As Robakidze said before being transferred to the pre-trial detention center, he was arrested for calling Anri Okhanishvili a betrayer and a traitor.

“I was drunk, but nothing else happened. I told him that he was a betrayer and a traitor. He called the police, they arrested me and sent to custody for three days. I don’t know why he called the police, he couldn"t stand me calling him a traitor. I have not told him nothing else”, - said Robakidze.

MP Anri Okhanashvili was having dinner with his family in one of the restaurants in Bakuriani, when one of the persons verbally abused and then physically assaulted him.
