The so-called Russian Embassy in the occupied region of Abkhazia warns its citizens to refrain from staying at the places of demonstrations.

"We are watching developments in Sokhumi, namely the invasion in the President"s Administration. Except for the city center, the situation in the capital is stable. We advise the Russians in Sokhumi to avoid the places where the protests are taking place," reads the statement.

According to Abkhaz media, part of the protesters, who were protesting in front of the Administration of de facto President Raul Khajimba, broke into the building. There was a physical confrontation between law enforcement and protesters.
