Snow is prognosticated in the mountainous regions of Georgia on January 9-10.

According to the National Environment Agency, dense fog and blizzard are expected in some regions, storm in the magnitude 2-3 is prognosticated at the Black Sea.

Abundant precipitation may cause formation of avalanches and activation of landsliding processes.
