Four killed in Sri Lanka military plane crash

A Sri Lanka Air Force aircraft has crashed in the Thambapillai area near the Haputale town this morning killing four people including the pilot, the police said.

Two pilots and two other Air Force officers were killed in the accident, Haputale Police said.
The aircraft had crashed while flying from Weerawila Air Force base on a reconnaissance mission.
