Islamic State’s positions in Iraq are getting stronger, the BBC reports based on the data from Western countries and Kurdish intelligence services.

Iraqi Kurdish intelligence services say radical Islamists have recovered resources after significant losses and are now more dangerous than al-Qaeda.

According to the publication, Islamic State fighters have changed their battle tactics and are currently hiding in the mountains and in the desert.
