The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities, solved the case of premeditated murder and armed assault, that took place in Arboshiki village and detained three persons: T.L (1959) D.J. (1974) and T.M. (1992).

Investigation established that on November 6, the detainees robbed the resident of Arboshiki village (Dedoplistskaro municipality) - T.B. (DoB 1959) and managed to illegally appropriate cash and jewelry from T.B.’s house. As a result of the robbery attack, T.B. died.

Police detained T.L and D.J in Adjara region, while they bypassing border check point attempted to leave the country illegally in the direction of Turkey. The third member of the group- T.M. was detained in Rustavi. Illegally appropriated jewelry was seized by investigators as evidence.

Investigation on the facts of armed robbery committed in group and premeditated murder is in progress under the articles 108 and 179, II part and III parts, sub-paragraph “B” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The committed crime envisages imprisonment from 7 up to 15 years.
