Activists of “Dare” and “Change” movements are holding a protest at the central office of the Georgian Dream.

Protesters condemn the incident that took place in Mtskheta town that left several people injured. Several activists of the Dare movement have been detained at MP Dimitri Khundadze’s majoritarian bureau in Mtskheta.

Representatives of the Georgian Dream youth organization have also gathered outside the office; however, as they claim, they are not staging a counter rally, and they just happened to be there.

The situation has escalated. Members of the Change Movement and the representatives of the ruling party’s youth organization have confronted each another. The situation was aggravated after a member of the Georgian Dream verbally abused a civic activist. Verbal altercation was followed by a physical confrontation, with the police attempting to break up the fight.
