The Georgian Young Lawyers Association has assessed the use of criminal justice mechanisms against demonstrators.

Lawyers said the organization is monitoring the criminal cases of about 50 people related to the protests, including those detained in April and May.

According to them, several defendants reported that there were cases of improper and degrading treatment during detention.
