Bakuriani is preparing to host a stage of the Mogul World Cup, run under the auspices of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation, on December 19 - 20, with 91 athletes from 19 countries taking part.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the competition will take place on Mount Kokhta, recognized by the FIS as the longest mogul track in the world.

The races will be broadcast live on Eurosport, allowing fans around the world to follow the competition involving athletes from the US, Canada, the UK, Switzerland, Austria, China, Italy, Germany, Czechia, Finland, Sweden, France, Australia, Ireland, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea and South Africa.

The World Cup in Bakuriani is supported by the Government of Georgia, Ministry of Economy, Mountain Trails Agency of the country, along with the Ski Federation’s organizational team. Representatives from the FIS, including Competition Director Andrea Rinaldi and Technical Delegate Jussi-Pekka Kinnunen, will oversee the planning and execution of the event.

Looking ahead, the winter season of 2025 will see further World Cup stages at Gudauri, another ski resort of the country, - in ski cross from February 28 to March 1, and snowboard cross between March 8-9.
