Ministry of Culture and Sports to be divided - who will lead the two agencies

The Government of Georgia is applying to the Parliament with a legislative initiative on the division of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The legislative initiative, which the legislature is considering in an accelerated manner, was approved at today’s government session.

“As a result of the change, the Ministries of Culture and Sports will function separately. The Ministry of Culture will be headed by Tinatin Rukhadze, while the Ministry of Sports will be headed by Shalva Gogoladze”, - says the Government Administration.
