The Chair of the Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze, visited the ongoing rehabilitation works of public schools in the villages of Damala and Toloshi in the Aspindza Municipality.
The public school in the village of Damala is designed to accommodate 840 students, while the school in the village of Toloshi is planned for 260 students.
In addition to educational spaces, the schools will feature natural science and computer laboratories, a library, a medical office, a resource room, conference and assembly halls, sports infrastructure, and recreational areas.
The schools will be fully adapted for individuals with disabilities.
The full rehabilitation and equipment of the schools in Damala and Toloshi are being carried out by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency.
Givi Mikanadze was accompanied on his visit to Aspindza Municipality by the Single-Mandate MP for Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Borjomi, and Aspindza, Anton Obolashvili, the State Representative of Samtskhe-Javakheti, Besik Amiranashvili, and the Deputy Director of the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency, Levan Mushkudiani.
