Thanks to the careful management, the country was on the verge of experiencing another “Golden Age” - Jan Pieter De Nul

The CEO of the Jan De Nul Group, a Belgian company that provides services relating to the construction and maintenance of maritime infrastructure, highlighted a strong approach and spirit with which Georgia was managing its economy.

“Thanks to this careful management, the country was on the verge of experiencing another “Golden Age”. To date, our company has operated in 117 countries, and Georgia will be the 118th. Does this mean that no one remembered Georgia? Absolutely not. One thing we know about Georgia in Europe is that you need to spread your wings”, - said Jan Pieter De Nul.

In his speech at an event marking the commencement of the design and construction of the Anaklia deep sea port, De Nul emphasized the impressive growth of Georgia’s tourism sector, praising the country’s remarkable achievements.

He highlighted the impressive statistical data and indicators related to Georgia and expressed his excitement about collaborating with Georgia to further enhance and develop these positive trends.

De Nul stressed the uniqueness and transformative potential of the Anaklia deep sea port project: “In 10 years, Georgia would be dramatically different due to the development of local production and increased employment. This project can truly be called a rare case. In 10 years, no one will recognize Georgia. Local production will develop, and employment will increase. We have a very good relationship with our highly enthusiastic partner, with engineering companies, and I do not expect any obstacles”.
