UEFA fines the Albanian Football Federation with EUR 12,500 for whistling the Georgian anthem

The Albanian Football Federation [AFF] has been fined EUR 41,250 by the UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Commission due to incidents caused by Albanian fans in the matches Ukraine-Albania (September 7) and Albania-Georgia (September 10).

Decisions of the UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee for the Albania-Georgia match:

- To fine the AFF with EUR 18,000 for blocking the stairs of the “Air Albania” stadium.
- To fine the AFF with EUR 4,750 for throwing things on the field
- To fine the AFF with EUR 12,500 for whistling the Georgian anthem.

Decisions of the UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee for the match Ukraine-Albania:

- To fine the AFF with EUR 6,000 for occupying the field.
- To close the disciplinary proceedings against the Federation, regarding the suspicions that the match started late due to the AFF.
