Georgian Prime Minister nominated Alexandre Tsuladze as Minister of Education, Science and Youth. As Irakli Kobakhidze said at a press conference, Tsuladze is a highly qualified and experienced person and an erudite.
“His educational background encompasses law. He graduated from Tbilisi State University, majoring in law. He earned his master"s degree in the Sapienza University of Rome. Tsuladze is Doctor of Law at the Tbilisi State University. For years, he has pursued successful academic activities in both Tbilisi State University and various private universities, including serving as a researcher at Columbia University and Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg, Germany. In different years, he also pursued active professional endeavors, such as being a successful attorney in the private sector. Besides, he also has been active in different directions of public service. He worked as a public servant in the Justice Ministry, having also served in the judiciary for years.
Tsuladze headed the international department of the High Council of Justice, served as a judge for the Supreme Court, having been elected to the latter position by the Parliament. Over the past few years, he worked in the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, having held various positions, including Director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, and First Deputy Minister. And I am excited because, from now on, he will continue working in the position of Minister. Mr. Tsuladze is a highly qualified and experienced person, an erudite. Consequently, I personally and the entire team believe that he is the best candidate for this position. I want to wish him success”, - said the Head of Government.
