The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 5 persons of foreign countries (A.A. Born in 1991; B.R. Born in 1994; A.N. Born in 1981; S.A. Born in 1991 and K.A. Born in 1986) for the fact of the illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crime envisages imprisonment up 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector ,,Matsimi” of Lagodekhi Division of the Border Police, implemented illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia and illegally entered the territory of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
