Georgian Railway would offer additional train services between Tbilisi and Batumi to meet increased passenger demand.

“Dear passengers, due to the increased flow of travelers, Georgian Railway is adding extra train services on the Tbilisi-Batumi-Tbilisi route for August 24, 25, 31, and September 1. Tickets can be purchased through our website, quick payment terminals, Georgian Railway ticket offices, and through Georgian Railway’s partner companies”, - reads the announcement from Georgian Railway.

The company transported 525,100 passengers in the 2nd quarter of 2024, of which 99.3% travelled within the country, the National Statistics office said in its latest update of the figures.
