MIA Service Agency starts issuing new international licence in compliance with Geneva Convention

The Service Agency [SA] of the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched issuing international driving licenses based on the Geneva Convention on Road Traffic on September 19, 1949.

An international driving license will be issued for a one year term based on a national license.

It will be valid in Geneva Convention member countries.

The SA will also issue the Vienna November 8, 1968, Convention valid for three years.

Individuals interested in obtaining the licences are expected to submit their identity documents and national driving licence to the Agency.
