To celebrate the Independence Day, at 17:10, the national anthem of Georgia was played simultaneously in all major cities of the country.

On May 26, 1918, Noe Jordania announced the restoration of Georgian statehood at 17:10. The signing ceremony of this document was held at today’s National Youth and Children’s Palace.

300 children performed the national anthem on Freedom Square.
